Proposal at Biltmore | He Asked and She Said "Yes!"

As a family and wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure of working with some super amazing couples. One thing that always stands out to me is the effort that my clients put in to make their significant other happy. Sometimes people go above and beyond for their love, making such beautiful and inspiring memories along the way. Rodney was one of those people, as he had a very special plan lined up for his girlfriend. He wanted to propose, but he wanted it nothing short of perfect. I love how invested Rodney was in making his proposal the best it could be for the love of his life. What a beautiful gesture.

Rodney's Perfect Proposal

Rodney contacted me to set up a proposal setting similar to the bachelor. He wanted a pedestal with a rose waiting there for when they walked up and he would get down on one knee and ask her to be his wife. That is her favorite show, and he wanted to make her proposal just as good, or better. In order to make Rodney’s vision come true, I went to Blossoms at Biltmore park and got the most beautiful biggest rose I had ever seen. It was almost bigger than my open hand! I mean HUGE!

After the proposal we spent a few hours exploring the estate for some fantastic photo locations. We found a gazebo that they stood under, and it was such a romantic moment when Rodney held his fiancé in his arms as they kissed so dearly. You can tell that they mean the world to each other! As we made our way around the estate, we stopped every so often to catch a photo of the two.

Sweet Embraces

I loved being able to capture the two of them embrace each other. They held on to each other so tightly, as if they never wanted to let go! I love the love that they share. So pure and strong. We also took time to stop at the lagoon on the back side of the estate. I love this spot with the house in the background. Then and there, with no one but the couple, it was beautiful to see them in love and in the moment!

It was supposed to rain all day (70% chance), but the rain held off until we finished our photo session. I got in my car and hadn't gone 2 miles and it started pouring the rain. Some things are just meant to be!

He asked, and she quickly said, "yes!" What a beautiful moment!
Just look at the way he holds her tight. He'll never let her go!
These two made my heart melt! Pure love. Pure magic.
Just look at that smile. She's found her forever. Congrats you two!
The gorgeous setting was the icing on the cake. These two are so natural together!
When she closes her eyes and envisions her future, Rodney is still there. These two lovebirds made my day!
Sweet embraces and loving looks. What more could I ask for as an proposal photographer?
A stunning setting, and even more stunning couple. Congrats you two. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for you both.
