Wedding at Boyd Chapel and the Grand Bohemian

Kelly and Paul's wedding was full of sweet details and even sweeter moments. From ceremony to reception, the couple relished every moment of their wedding at the Boyd Chapel and the Grand Bohemian.
So many pretty details!

A tender ceremony at Boyd Chapel.

One of my favorites! Kelly's family loves her sooooo much. You could see it in every gesture and hear it in every word.
We couldn't resist a fun outdoor shot on their perfectly sunny wedding day!
And they danced!!!

Introducing the groom's grandma. Isn't she fabulous??

Kelly's Father brought a tear to her eye (along with the rest of us) when he gave the toast. Kelly's mother passed away when she was a child. Her father recalled playing My Little Pony with Kelly along with other sweet memories of single parenting. Kelly went on to graduate top of her class from law school and passed the Board on her first try! Her daddy is so proud of her and you can imagine, she is a daddy's girl all the way. Kelly met Paul at the University of Boulder Colorado. It always touches me to hear a couple's story and how every single detail comes together to make a beautiful picture.

Wishing Kelly and Paul all the best and a lifetime of happiness!

Destination Summer Wedding in Jonesborough Tennessee

I cannot, simply cannot choose less than fifteen (or maybe sixteen, but who's counting?) favorite images from Elizabeth and Tom's summer wedding. Their wedding day was stunning in its authentic sweetness and breathtaking in its perfectly planned simplicity. Everything about this day and Elizabeth and Tom's love felt...real. Exactly as it should. From choosing a friend's family farm in Tennessee as ceremony and reception location to the Bride and Groom growing/raising all of the food and personally GRILLING for their guests (who does that?? Isn't it adorable??), each moment was as carefully considered as it was relaxed.

Family and friends performed ceremony music. This sort of personal touch makes forever memories.

Isn't Elizabeth just GORGEOUS? Her bright smile tells the story of the whole day.

My favorite moment of the entire day... Father of the Bride stopped to hug the mother of his daughter before she walked down the aisle. This family... they make my heart so happy and sappy and sentimental...

Vendors:
Only one! The crazy talented florist is http://annamariesflorist.com (who also just happens to be a family friend). Everything else from officiating the ceremony to china for the lemonade stand was provided by family and friends with mad skills and an excellent sense of organization.

Sweet Baby Chase!

Look who is 6 months old!!! My latest trip to Nashville for a portrait session was incredible. His smile is contagious! Love this boy!
With parents in the music industry, you know we had to have a guitar case shot.
…and a piano

Family Photo Fun!

I love watching this little man grow. I had the pleasure of photographing Joanne and Darell's wedding years ago. Every year they come back to NC for a family session. Now look how much 3D has grown! Such a beautiful family!
