A fabulous wedding! Shannon was the coordinator who helped make this day so wonderful. She was fantastic! Everything about this wedding was beautiful. It was held at the First Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia, SC. The reception followed at the Marriott Hotel. Nakeeah and William were so fun! I love couples that I can play with and get some really great images of. After the ceremony, the bridal party went downtown for some fun pictures. It was awesome!
Jenny and Brian were married at the Trott House Inn in Newton, NC. I have truly enjoyed getting to know this couple over the past several months. We have done a very hot/cool engagement session, a gorgeous bridal session, and now a perfect wedding! One thing that I really loved about their wedding was their vows. She was so giddy throughout the entire wedding and the expressions on her face were priceless. When he said his vows to her, she couldn't hold back her excitement and began a cute little clap. Their words were so perfect. Here are a few quotes: Brian: "And when the translation is complete, hopefully sixty years from now, it probably won't be the story we would've written, and thank goodness for that. Because I doubt we would've written the story of the fire road. And even though we can't know now, the details of this story, I'm sure it will contain plenty of action, passages of poetry, paragraphs of fantasy, mystery and romance, scenes of tragedy, comedy and farce, with footnotes providing historical context. And, I'm sure, at some point, even the dreaded how-to manual will make an appearance."..."So today as we embark on a new chapter, I vow to remain by your side even to the edge of doom, slay dragons, uncover clues, laugh, cry soliloquize, passionately embrace, laugh and cry some more....." Jenny: "Today I promise to walk beside you through our life together. If you need me to hold you hand and drag you, I will. If you need me to stand back and let you go ahead for a while, I will. If you want to run, I will run with you. If you need to sit down, I will sit with you. If we must climb, we will climb. If we can coast downhill, we will enjoy the ride...." Their vows had so much more than I can put here, but these were just a few words to show how wonderful they were. Thank you Jenny and Brian. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Melissa and Travis are great couple! I had a blast with them for their engagement session (and wedding which I will post soon). We spent the afternoon playing golf at the Waynesville Country Club, racing the golf carts(if that is what you can call it), playing in the woods, and catching a beautiful sunset! These are just too sweet!
I am so excited to get to show you Holly's bridal portrait session. She is stunningly beautiful! I drove to Raleigh for the day and her mom, Susan, had a decorator there to assist me with anything I needed for the session. It was awesome! I had people there to help me move furniture and set up the perfect shots and an audience! How cool was that! Thank you Holly and Susan for being so amazing!

I love it when I get the opportunity to visit my friend Stephanie in Nashville, TN. Even though it has been very busy these past few months, I was able to visit and sneak in a photo shoot while I was there for her and our friend Keisha. Hopefully in February I will get to visit again when they have their grand opening of her husband's studio. You can check out his website here. They are an extremely talented bunch!
It is so wonderful to see one of your friends truly in love. I have the honor of photographing one of my dearest friend's wedding in February. We got together for a fun engagement session in Lake Lure, NC at one of their special spots and downtown Asheville, NC. I am so happy for them and cannot wait for their wedding at Homewood.
A perfect wedding day! Shannon and Leigh Ann were married at the Copper Crest Inn in Hendersonville, NC. It touched my heart to see Shannon crying so hard as Leigh Ann walked down the aisle. These two are so in love! Music was provided by Sound Extreme. The whole day was so fun and we followed it up with a photo session around the inn.
What a wonderful couple! Chip and Sharon were married at the Balsam Mountain Inn with a wonderful fall backdrop. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends for the entire weekend. The wedding day started at 7:30a.m. for a chilly morning run. Everyone met back that afternoon for a relaxed yet most beautiful ceremony. Live bluegrass music filled each evening. It was so much fun! Thank you Chip and Sharon for letting me to be part of your weekend. Congratulations!
