Meghan and Joe’s wedding was chock full of thoughtful touches that made it an absolute delight to shoot. Not to mention the most romantic detail of all… Meghan and Joe are true highschool sweethearts! They have known each other since the second grade and they have been together since right before their senior year of high school. Joe proposed to Meghan during a hammock session in the backyard of their Clemson, SC home (Go Tigers!).
They chose the Crest Center and Pavilion in Asheville for their wedding based on their shared love of exploring our mountain town (the amazing food, beer, and bourbon didn’t hurt!). I knew we were in for a fun party when the bridal party entered to Thunderstruck by AC/DC. And can I just say again “Holy cow, the details!” There was a meaningful detail around every corner: Meghan’s hand-embroidered handkerchief, whiskey barrels, joyful florals, their vintage getaway car… I just can’t get enough of the accents that make this day truly unique.
