Wedding at the Lake Lure Inn and Spa / Dawn and Ty

There are so many things about Dawn and Ty's wedding at the Lake Lure Inn that I want to share, but I can't post hundreds of photos! So I am going to just have to settle with these favorites to tell their story. I started photographing the weekend with an "engagement session" even though it was a day before the actual wedding. They wanted the beautiful scenery around Lake Lure and Chimney Rock so we made a little time to play. I just love photographing down by the river. That night was the rehearsal dinner and a bonfire beach party. Yes that was a blast! I highly recommend doing that if you are getting married at Lake Lure Inn. Everyone loved it!!!!! The wedding day arrived and it was a perfect sunny day! The ladies looked fabulous! I love the cranberry red of the Bill Levkoff dresses!

Someone was very happy about this kiss!

Love the flowers and decor of the reception by Mandy of An English Flower Cottage. Not only is she a talented florist, but she also was the event planner making all this flow smoothly.

Dawn in her Nicole Miller gown and Ty in his Vera Wang grey vested tux looked quite stunning together! In fact the entire bridal party looked incredible! Love the kids being so darling for the camera.

Now this is an entrance!

What is a delicious dinner without dessert? How about pie? No "cake" cutting, just pie cutting. And how cute to have individual pies for the guests in multiple flavors!

Of course, one of my favorite moments is the mother/son and father/daughter dance.

The dances followed by a packed dance floor because Johnny White and the Elite Band were incredible!

And a perfect sendoff…sparklers!

One other vendor that I must give props to was Crown Alley Films. I love working with videographers that know their stuff and we can work in tandem, allowing each of us to get what the couple is expecting from both video and photography! Alan was awesome! Thank you to everyone that made this day possible, especially Dawn and Ty. I wish you two all the love and happiness that this world has to offer for you and your family!

Briahnna Dawn Sullivan-Country Music Artist

On occasion I get the opportunity to work with some incredible musicians and artists. This was one of those days. Briahnna is such a beautiful person both inside and out. Loved working with her!

Inn on Biltmore Estate Wedding

Lauren and Kaleb were married at the Inn on Biltmore Estate. With a Kaleb having a music major, it was very appropriate that this be incorporated into their wedding day. The maid of honor has an incredible voice that blew me and all of the guests away. She sang Dichterliebe, meaning in the month of May, during the reception. We began with the first look at the Diana overlooking the Biltmore House. It couldn't have been any sweeter!

Who wouldn't want to take a moment to stop and smell the roses! The rose garden was in full bloom!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that he sang his vows to her!!!! Yes, I cried too!

And to show her artistic talents, Lauren hand made and painted each of the miniature vases for each guest! How beautiful!

What a great send off!!!!! I heart Lauren and Kaleb!

Crest Center and Pavilion Wedding / Asheville NC

When you have a wedding in the mountains of Asheville NC, you want that to be the background of your ceremony right? Thats exactly what Amber and Greg did! Their ceremony was held at the Crest Center with these to die for views! Panoramic windows all along the side was the perfect set up for their indoor wedding.

Amber has the most beautiful red hair! When I noticed this moment, and the flow of color, I knew it would be a beautiful shot!

Again with the views! What a fantastic location!

Asheville is known for the local flavors! Some of the best beer is brewed right here. To add a personal touch, each of the tables were named after some of their favorite beer.

Studio Flora Diva did a beautiful job with the flowers, although Amber made her bouquet herself. I'm loving the bling details she put in it. The gold broach on the top was her grandmothers. A nice touch of something old and borrowed. So sweet!

Yes, wedding cake is a perk of the job. When I know certain bakers in town have made the wedding cake, I bargain for a piece because I know it will be good! This one definitely was! I have to give props to Sweet Promises Wedding Cakes! Yummy Good!

So may moments that I adore. I am a sucker for romance, and the first dance always gets to me.

I must say that I have so many cool couples to work with. But Amber and Greg are right there at the top. The reception was too much fun! They are quite the characters!
