Winner of The Knot's Best of Weddings!

I am so excited to announce that I won the award "Best of Weddings 2011" from The Knot! It is such an honor to win this award because it is based soley on reviews from the couples I work with, their bridal party, their guests, and their family. When I read what they had to say, I cried those big happy tears. I am so blessed to get the opportunity to work with such fabulous people. Thank you to all who gave me the 5 star reviews! I HEART U!

Here are just a few of the reviews. You can see why they touched my heart.

Jane: "Corey Cagle has an amazing eye for photography and knows how to capture the precious moments so perfectly. Through the pics, I could feel the exact emotional state that I was in at the time that the photograph was taken! Not to mention, she made me look better than I do in real life. :P Corey did my rehearsal dinner and wedding and she truly captured the memories so well. It was one of the best decisions that I've made with respect to wedding planning. Corey is not only talented and professional, but super easy-going, friendly, warm, and fun! She was certainly a trooper snapping away in 20-some degree weather! I will be forever grateful!"

Stephanie: "When my husband asked me to marry him, he didn't know that I had been planning our wedding for months prior. As he laughed at my binder of wedding plans, we agreed there were two things that were non-negotiable: the location and the photographer. Seaside, Florida has always been a special place for us and seemed the ideal place for our intimate ceremony of four. After talking with a wedding planner in Seaside, I learned that photographers who were not on Seaside's vendor list were not allowed to shoot weddings. At that point we had to negotiate the non-negotiable. I absolutely had to have Corey's creative eye, positive energy, and undeniable talent. So....we moved the ceremony to Seagrove, Seaside's neighbor. She followed us around the day before the wedding and shot the entire wedding day. My husband has never liked having his picture made, but Corey made it easy. We both felt comfortable just being ourselves, and liked the audience, truthfully. We're both characters, and Corey captured that. She is far more than a photographer. She was a calming voice when the local hair stylist turned me into an 80s pageant contestant. She was a hair stylist who helped me recover from the "hair trauma." She was a seamstress who thought to bring a sewing kit to fix a loose button. She was like a family member/lifelong friend, smiling her honest smile, as my husband and I made a memory that will live in our hearts forever. Moral of the story: some things are negotiable but Corey Cagle is not."

Lindsey: "Corey was AMAZING!! She captured the mood of the whole event in every picture!! She was so easy to work with. She offered suggestions and listened to my ideas as well. The pictures turned out wonderful, all the guests that have seen them have just raved about her work!!! An absolute joy!"
