Nashville Family Fun Photography | Chalk Fight
Family photos are a memory treasured for a lifetime. If you have kids, you know things don't always go as planned. More often than not, there is always one looking away, one refusing to smile, or one who can't sit still no matter how many bribes you offer up. To me, the best pictures aren't the perfectly posed ones with forced smiles anyways. The best ones are the real, authentic moments where you can tell everyone is happy and having a good time. These are the ones you'll really cherish looking back.Chalk Fight Fun with the Willis Family
Over the weekend, I went to Nashville and photographed several families. Tanya, along with her husband and three beautiful girls, were so much fun! Tanya is the founder of a nonprofit animal rescue called AGAPE in Nashville. She does amazing work, and I really admire how much she gives of herself to help the animals. If you're interested in contributing, check out the AGAPE Animal Ball coming up on October 28th. It's a fundraising masquerade ball that is over the top amazing every year.Five Hearts Full of Love
For our shoot, Tanya had her girls decked out in adorable coordinating dresses and matching cowgirl boots. They did a wonderful job posing and smiling for photos, but of course the best ones came when they got comfortable enough to be themselves and have fun with the session. The youngest kicked off her boots, and totally hammed it up. She was a hoot! The whole family let loose with a chalk fight where we were able to capture some great candid shots. It's so much fun watching their personalities emerge through photos. I know that even more than the pretty posed girls in their adorable matching dresses and boots, Mom and Dad will really enjoy looking back on the photos of their girls kicking their boots off and having a great time laughing and playing. The joy is tangible, and the memories will bring them right back to that place where they enjoyed letting loose, having a chalk fight, and sharing laughter and love to treasure for a lifetime.
