Wedding at The Hall at Landmark

Anene and Tremayne held their ceremony and reception at The Hall at Landmark. It was a perfect location. Everything about this wedding was beautiful and so colorful! Her family wore the traditional cloth brought in from Nigeria specifically for the wedding. I loved the reception attire. The colors were so vibrant.

The guys cigar room was a perfect location for their getting ready.

The florals were a perfect match to the dresses.

Looking good guys....

Anene's mom is so beautiful.

Anene and I did her bridal portrait session a few days before the wedding because her dress just arrived. It was a perfect day. Here is another one of my favorites from the day.

Dedra and Mike

Dedra and Mike were married at a cute little chapel in Zirconia, NC with the reception following at the Copper Crest in Hendersonville, NC. They were such a fun group to work with! I am so lucky to have wonderful couples like them. If you are needing a great band to get the guests on the dance floor check out Royal Groove. They were awesome!

I always enjoy the getting ready part of the day.

The sexiest shoe shot!

A little bit of laughter...

They said the car was used in the making of the Godfather movies. How cool!

Don't you just love a grand entrance!

Dedra had a second dress that was absolutely gorgeous just like her! They danced the night away...

Courtney and Brandon

This wedding was an experience that I will never forget. Two days before the wedding I had spoken with Courtney to discuss the last minute details and we joked about me going skating on Friday for my friends birthday party, and I said I wasn't going to skate because I didn't want to show up to her wedding on crutches. So Friday came and I went to the skating rink and was standing around watching my friend skate. He was standing at the edge of the barier wall so I decided to take a photo of him with the colored lights in the background. As I walked toward him I stepped off the ledge that I did not realize was there, fell, and sprained my ankle. I showed up to the wedding on crutches. It was so painful and I knew I could not give Courtney and Brandon full coverage of their wedding in my condition. I wasn't about to let a sprain keep me from photographing the wedding, but I knew I needed help. I call up some wonderful friends who came to help. We ended up with 4 wonderful photographers to make sure every detail was captured. I couldn't let my couple down. It was their big day and it had to be spectacular! A big thank you to my assistant Deanna, Regina Holder, and Kelly Giezentanner! You were all so wonderful and helpful and I appreciate everything you did! Courtney and Brandon were so fun and the wedding was simply amazing! I loved working with them and their families. They all got ready at Courtney's parents house which is beautifully decorated and a perfect setting. We did her bridal portraits there as well.

Isn't she gorgeous!

And these ladies were looking so good in their fabulous black dresses!

Check out the gentlemen with a sweet ride! Oh yeah!

I just love this shot of Courtney heading to church. It was a perfect moment as the wind caught her veil. So beautiful!

Her boquet was a cascade of floral beauty!

They have a lot of friends and family to celebrate. There were people in the balcony and even standing in the foyer. They are loved!

A few fun images from the reception that was held at the Greenwood Arts Council. And lastly, here is one of my favorites that Kelly got. I had her set up across the street to capture some wonderful couple images that were stunning. I love play time!

Melaine and Graham

For a rainy day, this wedding was just beautiful! Melanie and Graham celebrated their marriage with their closest family and friends and her bed and breakfast, the Pinebrook Manor in Hendersonville, NC. The place is gorgeous and they are such a wonderful couple! The beautiful flower arrangements were designed by Choy's Flowers and Ikebana. Thank you Melanie and Graham!

Isn't she beautiful!

Don't you love these moments!

Wednesday

Vegas!

March was so full of wonderful things. I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Vegas for WPPI which is a trade show for photographers. We get to meet many of the people that inspire us, learn new techniques, see all the amazing products available to bring to my clients, and of course have a good time in the process! The first two days were spent listening to speakers, seeing the items on the trade show floor, and in the evening, party hopping. There were too many things to do in Vegas and I just didn't get to them all, so I guess I have to go again next year. I stayed an extra day so I could head out to Red Rock Canyon for LLV with a group of awesome photographers to play. There were several couples there that had recently been married and wanted to have some fun in their attire. The view there was breathtaking.
