Grand Highlands Engagement Session

Meet Katheryn and Justin! When I first met Katheryn, I knew she was going to be awesome to work with. She has a vision for her wedding and we are completely on the same page. I think my favorite moment during the engagement session is when we were just starting at the 2nd location and I finally showed her an image in the back of the camera. She yelled "thats exactly what I want!" How perfect can it get? When we first got to Grand Highlands the wind was blowing like crazy, but we worked with it and still got some awesome images. Then we found an area just out of the winds reach and the sun was shining just right through the trees. It was the setting we were looking for. I am over the top excited about these images! We had too much fun! I cannot wait for the wedding in June.

Columbia SC Wedding and 701 Whaley Reception

Nikki and John, such a super hot couple! Yeah thats right... Their wedding was held at Bible Way church in Columbia SC with the reception following at the cool 701 Whaley in downtown. I just adore this place. The walls and elevator were fun to play with!Now this is a bridal party!The first dance smiles...and the tearful father daughter dance, I just love it!Is that air under her feet? Oh yeah!Thank you Nikki and John for choosing me to be part of your day!

Asheville Wedding

Meet Kristen and Greg! Oh my gosh what an amazing couple! I love just how much in love they are. They had a private ceremony at a friends house with their closest friends and family. The wonderful Fred Werhan gave a beautiful ceremony as he always does. It was a gorgeous day that ended by cooling off in the river. Too much fun!!! I just couldn't get enough. Here are a few of my favs from the day. Love you guys!!!

While most people are upset that it is snowing again... I just look out at my back yard in awe of how beautiful a picture Mother Nature paints.

Bridal Show

This weekend's bridal show had a fantastic turnout. This was the first year I have had my own booth. Usually I help my other photographer friends with their booths, but this time I decided to have my own. Well actually, it wasn't my own though...I joined with a couple other vendors in the area and we put together a BIG booth to showcase our creativity. Shannon with Shannon Baker Events and Brandt with the Marriott and Courtyard by Marriott put together what I thought was a gorgeous booth. I look forward to working with the awesome couples I met. I donated a bridal portrait for the big giveaway during the runway show and the winner is so fabulous! I cannot wait to shoot her session!!! This is a great start to what seems to be a fantastic year ahead.

Larkins on the River and Wyche Pavilion Wedding

I just realized that I had not blogged some of my favorite weddings from last year! I am very excited to share them! Here we have Mairin and Alex who were married at Larkins on the River in Greenville, SC. Their reception was held next door at the Wyche Pavilion. I love this venue!
