So Many Wonderful Days!

It's been awhile since I have had a chance to post, so there are many things to talk about. I enjoyed a day with Megan earlier in the month shooting her bridal portrait at the Biltmore House just at the beginning of the flower festival. I cannot post any of the images until after the wedding, however I am so pleased with the images. She is so beautiful and just glowed the entire day (even though it was about 30 degrees outside and a snow storm was on its way).

Another wonderful day was spent with Dana and Martin, fellow photographers, enjoying a post wedding shoot. Here are some of the images from the day. They were so fun and were up for anything! I loved it!

I had the privilege to photograph Amy & Scott's wedding held at their church and the reception at The Cedar's in downtown Hendersonville, NC. All the wonderful flower arrangements and coordination of the day was elegantly done by Sandra Walker of Southern Traditions Florist. Tom Ciaramitaro from Mountain Top Entertainment did an awesome job and the crowd had a wonderful time. Here is a sneak peak from their day.

During these past few weeks I also had the opportunity to photograph the Copper Crest Inn located in Hendersonville, NC. This is a great location for parties, weddings, and family reunions. Oh, and the food is superb!

Great Couple!

What a wonderful weekend! I had the honor of photographing Rachael and Craig's wedding at the Doubletree Guest Suites South Park in Charlotte NC on April 7th. Split Second Sound kept the party going. They are definitely a fun group! Congratulations to the happy couple! Click to see their slideshow.

Featured Wedding

Very Exciting News! The new issue of The Brides Book was just released today. My images from Suzanne and Adrian's wedding in Valle Crucis, NC, were printed as a featured wedding in the magazine. It should be out in stores very soon, so be sure to pick up a copy. There is an article with several resort listings to help you find the perfect location for your upcoming wedding. These places are beautiful!

Ring Shopping

As I was looking through my images last night, I came across one of my favorites of Stephanie and I though I would share. We went ring shopping while I was visiting her in Nashville, TN. This shot is from Tiffany & Co. After many days of online research, she thought the Legacy was the ring she wanted, however, once we went to Village Jewelers, she saw the ring she just had to have. The wedding is May 5th, so keep checking back and you will see the final choice.

Saturday

Elizabeth & Chris

Elizabeth and Chris were married in Columbia, SC at St. Peters Catholic Church. Their reception was held at the Clarion Townhouse Hotel. They are such a wonderful couple. We started at 6:30 am for breakfast and then left for the salon Shear Expectations where they all had their hair and makeup done. They were fabulous! While I was at the salon, Athena had met with the guys and gone with them to document their day. Both parties were picked up by CMI Limousine Services and taken to the church which is so beautiful. Elizabeth knew just what she wanted for the day and planned for a fun photo shoot all around Columbia. We had a blast! Then back to the hotel for the cocktail hour where the bar was open and delicious food was being served. They took advantage of the next hour to relax a bit and then it was time for dinner and the party. I have to say they really know how to have a good time. The night was filled with lots of dancing, skits from Pulp Fiction, karaoke, and support for their favorite team the Gamecocks. Party Time DJ was awesome and the party went all night long, even to the after party in room 247 (oops it was 242...) Congratulations to Chris and Elizabeth! I wish you all the happiness in the world!

Friday

Gatlinburg, TN

I got to hang with someone that I can say is forever my friend. We have know each other since 7th grade. We had so much fun doing nothing but walking, shopping, and catching up on life. We don't see each other very much, but when we do it is wonderful! Here are a few shots of her throughout the day. She is now used to me photographing her all day because she knows I take my camera everywhere I go and she cannot escape! Isn't she beautiful?

Monday

Stephanie's Party

Stephanie's party was filled with lots of advise for her in her new marriage, a round of pictionary (we had a group of wonderful artists...just kidding), a little get to know the couple session, and then the time for gifts and cutting of the cake for practice. Stephanie is all about organic products so I had the cake made specially for her from the Sweet Monkey Bakery in Asheville, NC and brought in. Once the shower was over is when the party began. I have learned that bachelorette parties can get a bit wild and crazy! So, with that being said, I am only going to post a few shots from the party and just leave you with this...how many people have you seen that wear their lingerie outside their clothes for a night out on the town?

Saturday

Bachelorette Party

Girls just wanna have fun! This weekend is all about fun. I am throwing a lingerie shower for one of my best friends Stephanie Willett. We spent the day getting manicures and pedicures at the spa and playing dress up. You never get too old to just be girls. The party is today so there are more photos coming soon...

Sunday

Windy Day but Awesome Shoot

There were times that I thought the wind was going to blow me right off of my feet. It was cold all day, but Joseph was rockin'. Our first shoot had to be rescheduled due to weather, but it didn't hold us back yesterday.

Wednesday

The Brides Book

I have been getting creative and trying new looks for my upcoming ad in The Brides Book. There were many choices and it was hard to decide on just one photo that represents me and my work. I went a little romantic for this one because I am a romantic. Let me know what you think.
