Chantal and Brian

Chantal and Brian were married at the Ocean Club at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was a very unique wedding customized to the couple. Each of the bridal party members participated in the readings. Each reading was special in what it had to say. They included quotes from Denise Levertov, Blaise Pascal, and R.M.Rilke along with a Chinese proverb and an Apache wedding prayer. Brian's mother read The Key to Love. Another thing I loved about the ceremony was the explanation of the birds nest. A bird's nest is its home. It does not come pre-made. It is something that is built piece by piece, with lots of hard work, to have a place for a family. Brian and Chantal each wrote their vows and after the ring exchange were sent off in celebration! The reception was filled with dancing, singing, and lots of laughter. The toasts were fantastic. One of the groomsmen even wrote a song as a toast and had all of the guests involved in singing along with him! Just fabulous!!!! Congratulations to Chantal and Brian!

Philadelphia!

I had a wonderful trip with my friend Stephanie to Philadelphia for a fabulous photo shoot! I had such a great experience! The area we stayed in downtown was actually clean and it was in the middle of everything. I was surprised. As we were walking around looking for the perfect location I spied a red phone booth at the end of an alley. Being just the two of us in a big city with lots of camera gear, we thought twice about it. You know dark alleys are not always a good place to be. However, we scoped it out and decided it was safe. That was most important! By the end of the shoot we had an audience captivated by her! Stephanie, you rock girl!

Sunday

Whitnei & Damian

Oh My Gosh! I had such a wonderful time with Whitnei and Damian. Their wedding was held at Springfield Baptist church in Greenville, SC. The church was beautiful, as was Whitnei. Her grandmother wanted her to be married there and so this was very important to them. It was a bit unusual to be married in that church as she is Catholic and he is Methodist. It was a union of the many faiths. How wonderful is that! The reception was held at the Commerce Club in downtown Greenville. The wedding party made their entrance just as the sun was setting over the city. The view was amazing! Mose Stovall and the Pharcyde Band was fabulous! The party went strong all night and everyone had a great evening! After the reception we took off to the Hyatt where they were staying. We had a great couple photo session in the lobby that I am very excited to showcase on my website! Thank you Whitnei & Damian for everything! You are wonderful!

Saturday

Engagement Session

Jenny and Brian did not know what they were in for when we met for their engagement session on a very HOT day. We walked through the gardens and they laughed and played and when we were finished, I made the suggestion to get in the water to cool off. And I did not mean just to get their feet wet....They were soaked for the drive home, but it was totally worth it! Thanks Jenny and Brian for letting my creativity flow. You were wonderful!!I can't wait to post her bridal photos and the wedding isn't too far away. I am so excited!

Pretty Place Chapel

Joy and Kevin were married at one of the most beautiful locations, Pretty Place Chapel at Camp Greenville. It is a pavilion overlooking the mountains. The view is stunning. It was a bit hazy due to the heat, but still breathtaking. Joy, the ladies, and a few of the gentlemen got ready at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn in Hendersonville, NC which was a perfect location. It has a beautiful decor. After the ceremony we all drove to the High Vista Country Club where they greeted their guests and danced the day away! We had a few moments to grab a few shots at the country club before entering which were just amazing. There were beautiful views there as well. Joy and Kevin, I wish you all the best! Thank you for choosing me to capture your wedding memories!

Sunday

Mr. & Mrs. Davis

Willie and Michelle were married at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in North, SC. I have to say that I truly enjoy my job when I get to be around couples that radiate around each other. When you see them, you can tell just how much in love they are. Is was my pleasure to spend the day with them. They chose to see each other before the ceremony, to have a private moment before standing up in front of everyone. This is a very special time and I am so happy they let me capture this. She had the biggest smile when she heard him open the door. He walked up behind her and spun her about, kissed her, and they just held on to one another. It was the perfect moment! The reception was held at Ariel's Special Events in Columbia, SC where the dinner was delicious catered by Simply Delicious and the party started! Ronnie Lane of Party Time DJs kept the crowd smiling and up on the dance floor all evening! His lighting gave the perfect setting! Thank you so much to everyone involved in this wedding. It turned out beautifully!

Tuesday

Heather & Stephen

A perfect day! Heather and Stephen were married at Table Rock Lodge in South Carolina. It over looks Pinnacle Lake and has a stunning sunset behind the rock faced mountains. The wedding was held inside the lodge where family and friend gathered to celebrate. Their color scheme was pink and brown and I just loved the bow ties! The reception was held in the lower level of the lodge with a balcony overlooking the lake. Stax Catering presented a delicious dinner. Afterward, the cake was not your traditional cake. Stephen came up with the idea of peach and blackberry cobbler. This was a huge hit! All the florals were beautifully prepared by Earth Blooms in Walhalla, SC. The live music was provided by The Musician's Den from Seneca, SC. They were great. I could listen to them all day long!
Congratulations to a wonderful couple!

Saturday

7-7-7

What a lucky day to be married! Pam and Jordan were married at the Taylor House Inn located in Banner Elk, NC on July 7, 2007. I have been able to get to know them as a couple and can see how perfect they are together. Pam wanted to make sure everything turned out just right for her big day, and it did! She looked stunning in her dress from Bride Beautiful in Atlanta, GA and he smiled so big watching her walk down the aisle. They wrote their own vows which touched everyone's heart so much that tears were just flowing. It was so special. After the ceremony, we only had a few minutes to sneak the couple away for some really great shots before they made their grand entrance into the reception, decorated with flowers by Carolyn Clement (828-963-4992) and lit up with great colors. They kept the dance floor burning all night long. Just before they left we got a second chance to sneak off and the photos turned out just perfect. Fireworks and sparklers ended the night. It was beautiful!

The Farm

Kevin and Kristi are such a great couple! I had a blast working with them. Their family and friends really know how to have a good time and always keep smiling. Their wedding was perfect. They chose The Farm in Candler NC to celebrate their day. The wedding was held at the gazebo and was so beautiful! The party afterward was so fun. Once again I had the pleasure to work with Tom Ciaramitaro of Mountain Top Entertainment. He kept the dance floor full! Everyone had a great time. Celine & Company catered and the food was delicious. I got to sample the cake and oh my, it too was delicious! A big thumbs up to Melissa's Gourmet Desserts. All the details of the day were brought together by Kristi's mom. She had a wonderful selection of colors and the flowers were just perfect! The Flower Gallery provided the most vivid selection to match everything her mother had put together. Great job everyone! Kevin and Kristi, I wish you both lost of love and happiness!

Tuesday

Heather & Jon

Heather and Jon were so very fun to work with! They were married at the Memorial Chapel at Lake Junaluska and the reception followed at the Waynesville Country Club. They were up for anything for the photos and the images were fabulous! Click here for their slideshow. It has a surprise ending...lol...aren't they wonderful actors!
